Make Fried Chicken with an Expert

The Smoke Shop

Who better to teach you the ways of fried chicken than Boston’s own king of meats, Andy Husbands? The award-winning pitmaster and chef of The Smoke Shop empire is teaming up with Maker’s Mark for a stellar Saturday hang at the Assembly Row location on January, 27th where you can learn all the secrets of how to master the classic, crispy chicken.

Add “learning to make brag-worthy chicken” to your New Year’s resolutions because the class covers all the tips, tricks and techniques to perfect your fried chicken game. The Beam Suntory brand ambassador, Patrick Gaggiano will also be there to talk about Maker’s Mark and how to craft chicken-friendly cocktails. Snag a ticket here (they’ll definitely sell out) for $90, which includes the class, a special Maker’s Mark cocktail and spirits tasting (including the ‘Shop’s own BBQ’s Private Barrel selection), a recipe packet, and plenty of good eats (check out the menu below). Class runs from 12:00 to 2:30pm, and you can give the Assembly Row location a call at 617.314.7297 if you have any Qs.
