MAPP Luncheon at Bar Volpe

Whether you’re a woman working in the hospitality industry, or an ally who’s interested in seeing more women succeed, you won’t want to miss a special lunch with Karen Akunowicz at Bar Volpe on Tuesday, February 6th at 12:00pm. The acclaimed chef is kicking off a 2024 tour of events from MAPP (Mentorship, Advocacy, Purpose and the Power of Women), a non-profit that creates inspiring events with chef tastings, mentorship pairings, small business support, and more to support women in the hospitality and culinary industries, and you can get a front row seat to a reading of Akunowicz’s new cookbook, Crave, and support a great cause at the same time.

Snag a spot here for $75; your ticket includes a fab lunch from the Bar Volpe team with wines from women winemakers at Markham Vineyards and Dough Wines, the cookbook reading as well as a signed copy of the book, and a panel discussion with local leaders & filmmaker and founder of MAPP, Joanna James. There’ll be plenty of movers and shakers in the room for some good old fashioned networking, plus everyone will be entered into a raffle to win a $500 Delta travel voucher. If you’d like to become a member of MAPP you will have a chance to sign up in person, or use their special discount code online (roadmapp24) to get the inside scoop on where they’ll be stopping next, as well as all the benefits of their educational resources, discounts, and more.
