Calling all aspiring young bakers and cookie enthusiasts! Flour Bakery & Cafe is hosting kids cookie class with renowned pastry chef Joanne Chang on Wednesday, August 16th. The hands-on experience aims to teach kids the art of baking, while also supporting a great cause. From 1:30 to 3:15pm, participants will gather at Flour Bakery’s IDB Seaport location to embark on a cookie-making journey learning the secrets behind Chang’s famous chocolate chip cookies from start to finish. As they mix and measure, the wee bakers will gain invaluable knowledge and skills that will undoubtedly ignite their passion for creating delectable treats. Attendees will receive a Flour spatula, a recipe card and cookies to take home. What makes this event even more special is the fact that 100% of the proceeds from the cookie class will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Charlestown.
