Greek Wine Dinner at 197 East Main

Chef Nick Speros invites guests to join him at 197 East Main on Tuesday, April 20th for a Greek Wine Dinner, featuring superb wines from the Violette Wine Imports portfolio as paired with modern interpretations of classic Greek dishes. Join him for Saganaki, a pan-fried Greek cheese called kefalogravgieda, flamed with Ouzo, followed by grilled cuttlefish with fresh chickpeas, purslane and chickpea puree. Speros will also be making fish plaki – oven roasted fish with roasted tomatoes, spring onions, and pepper coulis; herb basted lamb loin with creamy orzo, baby artichoke, and avgolemono; and galaktobouriko – a milk custard baked in phillo dough, with honey syrup.
