Wine Wednesdays get an autumnal twist this month at Foundry on Elm with a seasonally-appropriate focus on cozy reds for cooler, crisper temps. Make your way over to Davis Square to brighten up hump day with a highlighted sip – usually along a particular theme like say, wines from a particular producer, region, style or varietal (think: Ken Forrester, Californian wines or Greek wines, just to name a few).

Just keep an eye on their Instagram for the wine of the week, which they’ll be serving by the half-pour, a small carafe of about 2-ish glasses. It’s the perfect portion for tasting without committing to the whole bottle, plus it’s the perfect pairing for a plate of chef Shayne Nunes’ brassiere-meets-tavern fare.
