Fluff Festival

Fluff Festival Facebook

Somerville’s history is a bunch of fluff. In 1917, Archibald Query invented the tasty gooey goodness we now call fluff in Union Square—nearly 100 years later, local businesses band together for the tenth annual Fluff Festival honoring his contribution to mankind. On Saturday, September 26th, enthusiasts will flock to Union Square to enjoy an afternoon of fluff-related games, activities, contests and music. Join A4 Pizza and Kirkland Tap & Trotter (among many others) as they dish out food with fluff—sweet or savory, there’s something for everyone. There’ll also be fluff jousting, fluff musical chairs, and rounds of blind man’s fluff. Restaurants in the vicinity are getting in on the action, too: Bronwyn will be offering fluffy apps and a Motherfluffer cocktail all afternoon. If you think PB&J has had its day, support the less-lauded ingredient from 3:00-7:00pm—no ifs, ands, or fluffs about it. Visit the festival’s website here for more information.
