If the three wise men could do it all over again, perhaps they’d bring gnocchi, manicotti and pappardelle, because everyone knows that pasta is perfect for celebrating. You can load up on all the carbs in anticipation of Christmas at MIDA’s annual Feast of the Seven Pastas coming up on Saturday, December 23rd at either their OG South End location, East Boston, or head west to their Newton outpost.
Just as the title suggests you’ll get a seven-course pasta feast from chef Douglass Williams and Co. that feeds two to three people, including some classic MIDA fave dishes as well as a few flavors made just for the occasion like Lasagna Alfredo Primavera, and Rock Shrimp Carbonara. The meal also comes complete with salad, bread, and chocolate cookies all for $130, and they also have a particularly lovely selection of esoteric wines from around the world that you can pair up a la carte.
