EVOO joins forces with the Federation of Massachusetts Farmers’ Markets for a benefit dinner on Monday, July 28th at 7:30 pm. Savor the flavors of the season in five courses from chef Peter McCarthy including corn bisque with buttered sweet and spicy roasted peppers; house smoked goat cheese and homemade apple butter tart with roasted beets and summer herbs and blueberry-apricot crisp with Toby’s homemade honey lavender ice cream. The price for the evening is $100 per person and includes accompanying wines with each course. Proceeds benefit the Federation of Massachusetts Farmers’ Markets, a service organization that works with community development groups to help revitalize towns and city centers via the colorful, open air Farmers’ Markets that have cropped up around the city.
