Explore Alpine Wines at Forage

Take a break from shoveling and head to Forage to sip some high-altitude natural French wines on Tuesday, January 9th. In-house wine guru Stan Hilbert has picked out four bottles from the Savoie region of France, which is known for some very unique styles and varietals like Jacquère, Roussanne, and Mondeuse. It’s also the only alpine wine region in the country, so get ready for lots of bright acidity, low alcohol, and tons of minerality. Chef Eric Cooper has a warm and cozy menu to pair up with each bottle, including Chestnut Flour Breaded Catfish Nuggets, and Pork Sausage with Green Lentils, and it’ll be just the thing to bring you in from the cold (check out the full menu below).

Dinner costs $110 per person to dine in at the cozy Cambridge dining room, and you can grab a reservation here between 5:00 and 8:45pm. Or, if you want to stay in and have a wine feast in your comfy clothes, you can get everything to go for two people for $160 by ordering here. Keep in mind you can take any bottles home after dinner at retail prices, just talk to your server, and give the restaurant a call if you have any Qs at 617.576.5444.
