The crew at Vincent’s is joining forces with Matahari Women Workers’ Center to give your elected officials a chance to step into the shoes of a server. On Saturday, September 25th from 10:00-11:00am join Vincent’s for their bodega brunch and help bring awareness to the ongoing labor issues in the service industry, the struggles that employees go through for subminimum pay, and the need to #RaiseTheWage. See how well elected officials can take your orders for build your own breakfast tacos, bodega breakfast sandos, and cocktails made to order like the Biggie Mimosa, Bloody Mary or a pitcher of Aperol Spritz.

Matahari Women Workers’ Center, a Boston-based organization, creates space for women of color, immigrant women and families to come together and work towards justice and human rights. Their goal is to end gender-based violence and exploitation by using collective action and individual leadership for social change.
