Pizza and sports have always gone together, but never quite like this. Eataly is inviting former pro athletes to compete in an Italian pie throwdown with their monthly Pizza with the Pros series. On Thursday, February 27th former Patriots players Troy Brown and Ted Johnson will each be creating a signature wood-fired pizza for fans to enjoy and vote on. Stop by from 6:00 to 7:30pm for full-contact pizza, drinks, and a flour-covered autograph. Tickets are $25, and all proceeds go to each athlete’s charity of choice—Brown chose the Pan Mass Challenge and Johnson picked the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. Go iron that jersey, and click here for tickets.
