Seventh Annual Eat Your Heart Out

There’s plenty of crossover between rock stars and chefs – the tattoos, the late nights, the creative genius. On Monday, November 7th the line gets even further blurred at Eat Your Heart Out, an annual fundraiser that brings together the city’s best up-and-coming chefs and some great local bands for an evening of philanthropy. Starting at 6:00pm at the Paradise Rock Club, chefs like Barry Maiden, Jamie Bissonnette, Jeremy Sewall, Louis DiBiccari, Michael Leviton, Andy Husbands, Rich Morin and Laura Henry-Zoubir will be cooking up rocking dishes for folks to enjoy before Kingsley Flood and Jenny Dee & The Deelinquents take the stage. Keep an eye out for a guitar-playing Tim Weichman of TW Foods or Will Gilson of EAT Boston on harmonica – we weren’t kidding about crossover. Tickets costs $35 each and are available online. Proceeds are split between Zumix, a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to building community through music and the arts and Future Chefs, an organization that prepares motivated, low-income Boston-area youth for quality early employment and post-secondary education in the culinary field.
