Reporting for dumpling duty! On Tuesday, August 21st, let Irene Li of Mei Mei teach you the art of homemade dumpling making at La Scuola Kitchen inside Eataly Boston. The class is in collaboration with Lovin’ Spoonfuls, a local food rescue organization, and you’ll learn why dumplings are a great way to utilize leftover ingredients and minimize food waste (hint: they are super versatile and you can incorporate almost anything into the filling). Listen to Li as she works through the basics of Chinese cuisine prep, then watch as she skillfully crafts tiny dough balls of deliciousness. While you’re giving your attention to the cooking demo, you’ll have the chance to sip on The Grateful Bread, a sour beer made from excess bread that’s created through of partnership between Cambridge Brewing Company, Eataly and Lovin’ Spoonfuls.
