No need to hop a flight to Rome to have your fill of Italian street food when you can head to da LaPosta for a special Cibi Di Strada Dinner on Tuesday, March 26th. Starting at 6:30pm, chef Mario LaPosta and Co. will be serving up some of their favorite southern Italian bites at the upscale pizzeria in Newton. Get yourself to the Washington Street eatery for dishes like Cuoppo di Mare (calamari, head-on shrimp, cod cheeks), Arancini Classico (alla siciliana with peas & meat ragu), and Lamb Arrosticini (wood fired, Al Gallo Rosso style). There will even be a Roman Style Porchetta carved tableside plus tasty tipples to complement the meal. Grab reservations here; dinner is a steal at $115 per person, and these events tend to sell out quickly so don’t dilly dally if you’re interested.
