Chefs in Shorts 2005

The eighth annual Chefs in Shorts is just around the corner, scheduled for Friday, June 24th at the Eastport Park at World Trade Center East. From 7:00-9:30pm, some of the region’s leading chefs will be firing up their grills and creating their favorite warm weather dishes during this outdoor, summer-in-the-city barbecue. Participating chefs include John Merrill of Aura, Richard Rayment and Christophe Marquant of The Seaport, Daniel Kenney of Julien at the Langham Hotel, Stephen Sherman of Union, Paige Retus of the Metropolitan Club, Gabriel Frasca of Spire, Jenny Cates of Bonfire, Chris Parsons of Catch and Kevin Long of Tosca. Tickets cost $60 each and include complimentary beer, wine and tastings. Proceeds benefit Boston MedFlight, which provides critical care transport via air and ground to critically ill patients throughout eastern Massachusetts.
