On Saturday, December 6th, bakers, cake-makers and chefs-in-training from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts host their fourth annual Bake Sale Benefit in support of Share Our Strength. Drop by anytime between 10:00am and 3:00pm to stock up on sweet treats (‘tis the season of the holiday party and the hostess gift, after all). Students and instructors are working on coffee cakes, pecan rolls, holiday cookies, Yule logs, pies, congo bars and brownies, cupcakes, tea cakes and tarts. They’ve also hit up all sorts of local restaurants (including Avila, Craigie on Main, Davio’s, Hamersley’s, Mare, Tomasso Trattoria and Tremont 647) and businesses for gift certificates and donations for a great raffle.
