Buffalo Trace Whiskey Dinner

The Smoke Shop/Eventbrite

If you’ve ever scoured the bottle shops in search of a taste of Blanton’s Single Barrel whiskey, you won’t want to miss the Collections of the Buffalo Trace Whiskey Dinner at The Smoke Shop in Harvard Square. On Friday, July 28th Buffalo Trace representative Aron Silverman is bringing a trio of bottles to Cambridge, including E.H. Taylor Jr., which is a small batch bourbon whiskey that has been aged inside century old warehouses; Stagg, an uncut and unfiltered robust bourbon aged for nearly a decade; and the elusive Blanton’s Single Barrel, which is a private reserve described as “liquid gold” in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.

Award-winning chef and pitmaster Andy Husbands and his team will have heaps of BBQ to keep you satiated while Silverman talks you through each pour, so bring all your burning Blanton’s questions and a big appetite. Dinner is $60 per person, and includes all your food, the whiskey tasting, and a welcome cocktail. Grab a ticket or two here and head to 8 Holyoke Street at 6:30pm. If you have any Qs give them a call at 617.547.7427, and keep an eye on their socials (FB and IG) for updates on all their upcoming whiskey happenings.
