Breakfast Pop-up at Coppa

Set a little reminder: Ken Oringer is teaming up with friend, fellow chef and longtime neighbor Jay Hajj for a Lebanese Breakfast Pop-up at Coppa on Friday, February 2nd. Hajj, who owns and operates Mike’s City Diner on Washington Street (right next to Oringer’s OG South End spot, Toro) will be setting up shop in Coppa’s Shawmut Ave. kitchen to churn out some of his signature dishes like the ones in his cookbook Beirut to Boston: A Cookbook: Comfort Food Inspired by a Rags-to-Restaurants Story. Keep an eye on Insta for more info and email Brooke to reserve your manakeesh, lahmajoun and khachapuri (sourdough boats filled with cheese and an egg) for pick-up at Coppa on Friday morning for the perfect (slightly early) start to the weekend.
