Boston Seafood Festival

Boston Seafood Festival

Take a deep dive into the city’s best fish and shellfish at this year’s Boston Seafood Festival on Sunday, September 10th. Head to (where else?) the Boston Fish Pier on the waterfront from 11:00am to 6:00pm to taste all the underwater eats from albacore to yellowtail. There’ll be demos from a ton of your favorite local chefs including Charles Foster (Woods Hill Table, Woods Hill Pier 4), and Michael Morway (Branch Line), plus live music, beer gardens, and a lobster bake. In addition to the chefs there’ll be lots of local spots representing the Hub including Lucie Drink + Dine, Summer Shack, and Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar.

Tickets (get ’em here) range from $25 for general admission (which will get you in the gate where you can stuff yourself like a quahog on free samples) up to $120 for VIP (which includes 1 Lobster Bake ticket with lobster, mussels, chowder, corn, cole slaw, water, 2 drink tickets, and a VIP bag). Little ones are welcome ($15 to $30 for ages 6-13; free for ages under 5), and there’ll be lots of kids’ activities. You can feel good about your salty smorgasbord, too, because your ticket dollars will benefit the Boston Fisheries Foundation and its mission to preserve, sustain, and share Boston’s maritime history. Peep their Facebook and Instagram for previews, and skip breakfast that morning because you’re gonna wanna show up hungry!
