On Wednesday, May 27th, chef-owner Evan Mallett and the rest of the folks at Black Trumpet will host a special evening dedicated to those suffering from diabetes. Sous chef Michael Piergrossi, himself a type 1 diabetic, will prepare a four-course meal that’s not only low in carbs and sugars (two seriously bad things for diabetics) but also just happens to be delicious. There’ll be cider and wine pairings to go with this artfully prepared and healthful meal.
