The only thing better than a beer tasting is a beer tasting that’s also a rum tasting – see for yourself at The Lexington on Wednesday, April 19th. The Lamplighter Brewing Company crew is teaming up with their pals at Bully Boy Distillers for a super fun sample party at The Lexington’s dining room in Cambridge Crossing, which is just a few steps away from Lamplighter’s tasting room. Grab a ticket here for $35 and head to 100 North First Street from 6:30 to 8:30 for three tasting pours of rum and two samples of beer. The Bully Boy and Lamplighter folks will be on hand to talk you through each sip and answer all your questions about brewing and distilling, and chef Will Gilson will have scads of charcuterie for snacking as well as a limited a la carte menu of appetizers. If you work up a mighty appetite with all that tasting, stick around for dinner either at The Lexington or Geppetto (make a reservation here) — it’s the start of roof deck and patio season, after all.
