Beer Advocate Beer Dinner at Hungry Mother

The folks at Hungry Mother team up with their friends at the Beer Advocate for their first ever beer dinner on Monday, August 23rd – and they are not messing around. Chef Barry Maiden is preparing eight courses full of his favorite edible things for the Things We Love-themed menu, and pairing each with a bottle (or glass, as the case may be) of suds. The menu is subject to change (that “something chocolate” dessert course is ripe for some re-writing) but among some of the potential eats for the evening: catfish escabeche, shrimp and grits, and bbq lamb, hominy tortilla, corn and tomato chow chow. True beer lovers will spare no expense to enjoy the perfect pint – so, the $95 price tag (which covers food, drink, tax and gratuity) should be of no consequence. Space is limited and they’re securing reservations with credit cards, so get out the plastic and call 617.499.0090 for reservations.
