Austrian Wine Dinner at Menton

Weingut Rudi Pichler

Italy and France get all the press, but Austria has been making some of the world’s best white wines for centuries, and on Thursday, October 4th, Menton has invited one of the nation’s premier winemakers, Theresa Pichler, for an Austrian Wine Dinner you won’t want to miss. Cat Silirie, Executive Wine Director for the Barbara Lynch Collective (and one of Boston’s most esteemed tastemakers in the world of wine) loves Pichler wines, and you’ll find out why with a four-course menu full of fall ingredients designed to pair perfectly with the Gruner Vetliners and Rieslings that Theresa will be pouring. You’ll taste seven wines, including side-by-sides for comparison and some seriously rare stuff that may or may not require smuggling to get into the States. Tickets are $125 per person; get yours, and take a peek at the menu and the featured wines, here.
