AIWF May Wine Dinner at Mare

The American Institute of Wine & Food hits the North End on Monday, May 8th when they head to Mare for a meal with chef Marisa Iocco. The AIWF, a non-profit founded in 1981 by Julia Child, Robert Mondavi and Richard Graff, among others, joins together people who are serious about food and wine (professional and otherwise) for various educational events and gatherings (think: wine dinners, tastings, gala auctions, cookbook signings, picnics, culinary cruises and the like). This month they’ll be enjoying a four-course menu of Iocco’s 98% organic coastal Italian cuisine paired with wines. The dinner costs $68 for AIWF members and $78 for non-members. Though the specifics of the evening’s fare have yet to be determined, reservations are going fast, so call the AIWF at 617.367.0013 to make yours. You can also go to their website for more information about becoming a member.
