A Sparkling Spring Fling at UpStairs

Proprietresses Mary-Catherine Deibel and Deborah Hughes welcome owner and master vintner Sergio Mionetto of the Mionetto Winery in Veneto, Italy to UpStairs on the Square for a spectacularly sparkling wine dinner on Tuesday, May 16th. Guests will be the first in the Boston area to pop the corks on these bottles – they’ve never been released on the Boston market before. Chef Steven Brand will be designing four bubbly-friendly courses to pair with the evening’s selection of wines. On the menu: cauliflower panna cotta with prosecco and caviar; crudo of Arctic char with trout roe and Meyer lemon; duck three ways: crispy duck ravioli, seared breast and duck foie gras with Maine blueberry sauce and hazelnut French toast; and

almond marzipan croissant bread pudding with olive oil gelato
