For the second year running, B&G Oysters gets patio season in the South End off to a festive start with an Oyster Invitational. On Sunday, May 2nd take a spin down to Tremont Street for an afternoon of freshly shucked oysters, beer, wine and small plates from the likes of Erbaluce, Garden at the Cellar, Neptune Oyster, No. 9 Park, Oleana, O Ya, Sel de la Terre, The Butcher Shop, Harpoon Brewery, Island Creek Oysters, Matunuck Oyster Farm, Moon Shoal Oysters, Salt Pond Oysters and Woodbury Shellfish. The fun technically starts at noon at sister restaurant and neighbor, The Butcher Shop, with demos, tastings and a discussion with Dominic Palumbo from Moon in the Pond Farm in Sheffield, Mass.
