Celebrate National Filet Mignon Day—Thursday, August 13th, if it’s not already on your calendar—with meaty offerings from local chefs.
At Boston Chops you can dig into 14 ounces of bone-in filet, available for $46 each, from chef Chris Coombs.
Chef Jeffrey Williams at Chopps will be cooking up 6- and 8-ounce Aspen Ridge filets with a selection of sauces, including chimichurri, au poivre, bearnaise, the Chopps house sauce and ginger soy. The 6-ounce costs $34 each, while the 8-ounce costs $39 each and both come with whipped potatoes or fresh asparagus.
Over at Meritage, chef Daniel Bruce has a cardamom, black pepper and cinnamon grilled filet, served with aged cheddar, horseradish cream and fresh beans. He’s even prepared an optional wine flight, available for $17 each, of California, Washington and Argentina reds.
There’s plenty of options to fill your plate, so give your restaurant of choice a call to make your Filet Day reservations.
