L’Espalier has added dates to their ongoing Wine Monday Series, including some special Sunday installments. The schedule features some spectacular wines from across the globe paired with award-winning French-New England cuisine from chef Frank McClelland. The evenings combine education and degustation by including a wine briefing by L’Espalier sommelier Erik Johnson complete with full descriptions of each wine offered. Wine Mondays begin at 7:00pm and cost $50 per person. Reservations are strongly recommended, so save yourself a seat at one of the upcoming installments by calling 617.262.3023

In conjunction with Wine Mondays, L’Espalier also offers Cheese Tuesdays (and in some cases, Sundays), when in-house cheese expert and maitre d’, Louis Risoli, hosts a special homage to fromage highlighting cheeses from around the world. Like Wine Mondays, the collaboration includes four-courses from chef Frank McClelland, who builds the menu around the selected cheeses and input from sommelier Erik Johnson, who pairs matching wines. Their efforts culminate in a supremely popular night of cheese education and enjoyment. Cheese Tuesday begins at 7:00pm. The cost is $55 per person. Call 617.262.3023 to make reservations for any of the following: Tuesday, December 2nd – British Isles; and Sunday, December 28th – Cheese Tuesdays Year in Review; Best Cheeses of 2003.
