Mark your calendars – on Thursday, April 2nd Share Our Strength hosts its annual hunger-fighting fundraiser, Taste of the Nation. More than 40 wineries will be donating their wares and over 70 area restaurants will be serving their fare. Look for restaurants like 33 Restaurant, Ashmont Grill, Aura at the Seaport Hotel, Bonfire, Catch, Craigie on Main, dante, Davio’s, Eastern Standard, Franklin Café, Gargoyles, Hamersley’s, Henrietta’s Table, Highland Kitchen, Kingfish Hall, L’Espalier, Masa, Olives, Rialto, Sasso, Sel de la Terre, Stix, Tastings Wine Bar & Bistro, Tavolo, Tremont 647, Upstairs on the Square and Vox Populi. As is the tradition, the evening features a silent auction and live entertainment. Tickets to the event, which is being held at the Hynes Convention Center from 6:30 to 9:00pm, are $85 in advance (or $95 at the door if available) or $135 in advance for VIP access (or $145 at the door if available).
