Pastry chef turned financial manager Dina Sonenshein puts her dessert-making skills to work on Sunday, September 11th when she and the UpStairs on the Square family hold an old-fashioned bake sale to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. The UpStairs staff as well as friends and family will be whipping up homemade cookies, candies, cakes and tarts that’ll be available for purchase from 1:00-3:00pm in Winthrop Park, at the corner of JFK and Winthrop Streets.
