- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 pound walnuts
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
- Combine all the ingredients, except the walnuts, in a saucepan and simmer very slowly for three minutes.
- Pour the glaze over the nuts on a sheet pan and bake, stirring every ten minutes, until the nuts look dry, about thirty to forty minutes.
