Farm shares aren’t just for veggie-lovers—Island Creek Oysters has a program of oceanic options to broaden your seafood shores. Monthly shares go above and beyond the bivalve shell with three different packages. For the oyster purist, there’s the Oyster of the Month Club, offering 50 oysters from an array of oyster farms on the last Thursday of each month (year-round, starting at $285 for a three-month subscription). During the summer, the Island Creek Shell Share supplements a dozen oysters with New England shellfish like razor clams, lobster, head-on shrimp and more, including tips for preparation (available the second Friday of each month). Or, the Island Creek Chef Share has all the makings of a full meal for four with recipe suggestions from chef partners like Jeremy Sewall, Nicki Hobson, Jasper White, Tim Cushman, Moody’s Deli and more (available the last Friday of each month).
