Row 34 offers Fort Point diners a welcoming, neighborhood-focused restaurant and bar with all the style of its sister restaurants (Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar and The Hawthorne) and all the briny goodness of its sister oyster farm (Island Creek Oysters).

With chef-owner Jeremy Sewall at the helm (as well as at the aforementioned sister oyster farm), Row 34’s menu exhibits all the seafood-y dishes you might expect. There are classic New England preparations alongside crudos, ceviches and oysters. Lots and lots of oysters. Curated by Island Creek’s Skip Bennett, the selection includes undiscovered gems as well as tried-and-true favorites from other like-minded innovators in modern aquaculture.

The beer program at Row 34, with twenty-four draught lines, a rotating cask and a substantial bottle cellar, focuses on contemporary points of view from the American craft beer industry. The wine list is thoughtful and approachable with an array of classics, as well as less common varietals, regions, and styles.

The dining room combines elements of the existing architecture (the original brick and steel structure and 100-year-old wood beams, for example) with contemporary flourishes (vintage subway tiles and galvanized steel accents), for a feel that’s both historic and modern.
