Spend a cozy Sunday nestled fireside at the Mandarin Oreintal’s newest addition to their Lobby Lounge – the Pop Up Parlor. Every week from 2:00 to 6:00pm, the Back Bay hotel will send out their Holiday Treat Trolley, brimming with tea sandwiches, seasonal pastries, hot cocoa, warm apple cider, hot toddies and even gingerbread man decoration kits to keep the kiddies occupied (mere visions of sugar plums don’t always do it). You can purchase your treats a la carte or opt for the full afternoon tea for $40 per person. The holiday fun will only be around through the season so pop by before the new year.
