Feeling nostalgic for last summer’s Wiener Wednesdays? Well, hot dog lovers spoke and chef Nicholas Dixon listened — the beloved hump-day tradition is back at Lincoln Tavern. Every week, the crew starts with a wagyu beef frank and then comes the creativity – toppings, adornments and accoutrements, the likes of wof which you’ve never dreamed.
Previous versions include the Steakhouse Dog with grilled asparagus, crumbled Point Reyes Blue Cheese, Dijon bechamel, LT steak sauce and onion rings on a house made asiago bun and the Okonomiyaki Dog (pictured above) with crispy small batch bacon, Kewpie mayonnaise, Okonomiyaki sauce, sriracha, bonito flakes, scallions, quail egg on a house made asiago bun. This dine-in only special — no take out orders, sorry! — kicks off every Wednesday at 5:00pm. Follow along on Lincoln’s Facebook page or Instagram to get a sneak peek at the week’s surprise.
