Chef Jim Solomon takes The Fireplace to Sicily for a two-night trip on Wednesday, April 13th and Thursday, April 14th, in honor of Thomas Jefferson’s birthday. The third US president is credited with introducing pasta makers and Parmesan to colonial America and Solomon has crafted an eight-course menu to celebrate the Italian imports as well as the food-loving founding father. The menu includes broth-poached meatballs, baked pasta ragu and more, available for $60 per person, plus an array of wines to pair. Seatings are available Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00pm—see the menu below and call 617.975.1900 to reserve a seat.
