WGBH’s The Artisan Taste

Expect delicious food, the best wine and craft beer in Boston, live music and fierce competition at The Artisan Taste during this year’s WGBH Food & Wine Festival. On Saturday, October 7th from 4:00-9:00pm, watch New England’s best chefs from over 20 restaurants (including Bronwyn, Coppersmith, Myers + Chang, Harvest and Babbo Enoteca e Pizzeria) battle for the WGBH Culinary Stewardship Award alongside two past runners-up, Josh Lewin of Juliet and David Vargas of Vida Cantina.

Come hungry and thirsty — chef tastings as well as special vintner and brewer samples will be available in the Grand Tasting Pavilion. See the action up close and personal during live cooking demos and hear from national and local celebrity chefs at panel discussions in the Culinary Theater. There’ll also be a new youth culinary competition for young adults between the ages of 12 and 18 who have a passion for cooking. At the close of the event, the 2017 WGBH Culinary Stewardship Awardee will be crowned (and granted full bragging rights).

Don’t miss book signings from your favorite chefs and cookbook authors, and make sure to check out the special pop-ups throughout the day. See the event website for a full list of restaurant participants and purchase tickets for $50 per person.
