Thanksgiving Wine Tasting

Oak Long Bar + Kitchen Facebook

You’ve probably thought for weeks about what sides you’ll serve on Thanksgiving — mashed potatoes and stuffing most likely made the list — but what about your wine list? Don’t panic, Oak Long Bar + Kitchen can help you out on Thursday, November 15th with the chance to try up to five sippers that’ll fit right into your Turkey Day spread. Starting at 4:30pm, swing by for tastings of featured wines (see the complete list below) that’ll be served alongside bite-sized eats mimicking a Thanksgiving menu, prepared by chef Graham Lockwood. It’s the perfect chance to pair potential wines with the food you’ll actually be eating on the holiday. Want more than a sample? Half pours will be available for $4 to $6 each, while full pours will be available for $8 to $12 each. Nearby store Back Bay Wine & Spirits (it’s just around the corner) will have each of the wines in stock for purchase, and event attendees will get a special perk: a free bottle of wine on any mix & match case of the featured wines below, through Wednesday, November 21st. Tickets are just $10 with a teeny tiny processing fee — snag yours here.
