Take Action at MRU’s Live State Meeting

Mass Restaurant United

On Thursday, July 29th (10:00am EST) join Mass Restaurants United for a frank chat about the current situation in the restaurant industry at the first Live State Meeting. The event is open to the public so everyone (hospitality professionals and non) can get up-to-speed on the state of the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), which was established as part of the American Rescue Plan Act to provide funding to help restaurants (and other eligible businesses!) keep their doors open. The U.S. Small Business Administration has since had to close the portal and stop distributing funds leaving many businesses high and dry.

You’ll hear from folks across the Commonwealth on this issue and the reality of the situation in the food industry. Speakers include chef, writer and TV host Andrew Zimmern, as well as Jody Adams, Nancy Caswell, Nancy Cushman, Nookie Postal, Angela Raynor, Michael Leviton, Bessie King and Paul Schiavone. Learn how you can take action and share your thoughts and ideas with a group of industry professionals. Register online here now and get involved to help make a difference.
