Forage Explores Mexican Wines

Mexico’s tequila and mezcal tends to get all the attention when it comes to drinks, but there’s also a century-old thriving wine industry on the Baja Peninsula. If you want to explore the heritage and region, and try some of their unique, low-intervention wines, head to Forage on Tuesday, March 26th. Take a look at chef Eric Cooper‘s menu below, which is packed with fun matchups like Colorful Carrot & Turnip Terrine Carrot Top with Fennel & Breadcrumb paired with 2022 Magoni “Manaz” Viognier, Valle de Guadalupe; and Carne Asada Pupusa with Cabbage Slaw, Black Beans and Sour Cream paired with 2021 Nebbiolo, Jipi, Valle de Guadalupe.

Reservations are available in their Cambridge dining room from 5:00 to 8:45 here, or you can have everything expertly packed up to go and have your Mexican wine tasting party at home by ordering here. Dinner costs $110 to dine in, or $160 to take out (serves two people). Wine guru Stan Hilbert also makes sure that there are plenty of bottles available to take home after dinner at retail prices, so talk to your server if you taste something you love at dinner, or give them a call if you’re dining at home at 617.576.5444 to arrange a pickup.
