Pink Boots Tap Take-Over

Pink Boots Twitter

Historically, beer has been a bit of a boys’ club, but the Pink Boots Society is on a brew-fueled mission to change that, with their goal to assist and inspire women beer professionals. On Wednesday, April 25th, they’re raising awareness by taking over the taps at Oak Long Bar + Kitchen, and featuring the eight brews below, which were made back on March 8th (International Women’s Day) by local lady brewers, specifically for the Pink Boots Society. Stop by starting at 6:oopm to sample one, two, or all eight of these limited-edition brews paired with the snacks from chef Graham Lockwood including a house-made pretzel with beer cheese, duck wings and pigs in a blanket. Beers will be $8 each and Oak will donate 5% of proceeds from the evening’s draft sales to Pink Boots Society. Taste everything from dry-hopped sours to dark saisons while you mingle with some of the women behind the beer, including Society chapter president, Brienne Allan of Notch Brewing. No tickets are required; check out the full beer list below.
