Pig Roast Patio Party for Father’s Day

Urban Hearth

Take your favorite food-loving dad out for a pig roast feast on the newly-redone patio at Urban Hearth on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18th. Chef Erin Miller has invited fellow Cantabrigian and chef Conor Dennehy from Talulla over for a la caja china traditional whole pig roast, and your dad is going to highly approve. The pig-centric picnic goes down from 12:00 to 9:00pm at 2263 Massachusetts Ave., and in addition to the big BBQ there will also be lawn games, beers from Lamplighter Brewing Co., and some special cocktails that the old man will love.

Tickets for the party are a steal at $80 each (grab ‘em here), which includes three hours on the patio, a large plate of roast pork, choice of three classic picnic sides, a choice of Talulla sourdough or Urban Hearth cornbread, and dessert. You can also add some a la carte items like smoked sausages, ribs, biscuits, and vegetarian options. You and dad can feel good about going out, too, because $5 from every ticket purchased will be directly donated to Commonwealth Kitchen and the Black Economic Council of MA in support of BIPOC entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry.

If you have any Qs give Urban Hearth a call at 617.682.7295, and let your dad know he’s relieved of grilling duties for Father’s Day this year!
