New Style BBQ Class

The Smoke Shop

Chef and award-winning pitmaster Andy Husbands didn’t build a Boston barbecue empire by being a slouch when it comes to the smoker – glean the secrets to his success at his New Style BBQ Class, scheduled for Saturday, October 21st at The Smoke Shop in Somerville. Head to Assembly Row from 11:30am to 2:00pm for an immersive experience with the king of ‘que where Husbands will show you how to smoke meats using traditional techniques, and then incorporate the traditional flavors into recipes where smoked meats are not traditionally found. And, since it wouldn’t be a trip to The Smoke Shop without a little whiskey, they’ll have Maker’s Mark representing for the afternoon, including a little face time with a brand ambassador from Beam Suntory to show you the way.

Grab a spot here for $165 per person; your ticket includes all your food, the class and the spirits tasting, plus a welcome cocktail. These classes tend to sell out extremely quickly so book it ASAP.
