Don’t miss out on MIDA’s upcoming virtual brunch in support of the Stepping Stone Foundation and Community Through Hospitality initiative in celebration of Black History Month. On Sunday, February 27th, you can eat a delicious three-course meal (with wine) and join the discussion with MIDA Chef-owner Douglass Williams, wine expert TJ Douglas, co-owner of the South End’s Urban Grape, and Boston’s Chief of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion, Segun Idowu. They will be examining their culinary passions, education in the industry and the importance of Black leadership in hospitality.
Tickets are $90 each and include three dishes from MIDA along with a half bottle of wine selected by Urban Grape. 100% of the proceeds will go to Stepping Stone Foundation, a nonprofit that helps students from marginalized communities graduate from college. Get your tickets online today, and pick-up your brunch packet from MIDA in Newton or South End between 10:00 and 10:30am on the day, in time to get home by noon for an online chat with the expertcs. Help support this dynamic (and philanthropic) event while enjoying a tasty Sunday nosh.
