Wish away winter with a glass of wine in hand, and taste your way through Verona, Montalcino and Rome instead. On Saturday, February 24th, Meritage’s Beverage Director Nicholas Daddona will be your guide for the afternoon, giving you the lowdown on grape-growing and winemaking while you partake in some supervised day drinking of eight selected wines. The session runs from 3:00-5:00pm and costs $125. If you’re hoping for a more enhanced experience, stay after class to ask the teacher some questions and enjoy a tasting menu (which includes wine pairings) from chef Daniel Bruce and Keith Bombaugh for another $125.
