Whiskey is always a great way to kick off a weekend, and on Friday, June 23rd you can sip on a trio of treats from Boston Harbor Distillery (BHD) at The Smoke Shop in Harvard Square. BHD’s owner and founder Rhonda Kallman and expert distiller John Stark will be popping over to Cambridge to lead you through a tasting of their Putnam’s Straight Rye Whiskey, Single Malt, and Red Wine Barrel Finish matched with a three-course menu of chef Andy Husbands’ award-winning barbecue.

The dinner, which starts at 6:30pm with a Dorchester Sour welcome cocktail, costs $60 per person. Grab your tickets here asap so you don’t miss your chance to pick the brains of the city’s most knowledgeable distillers, (bring some good questions along with your appetite).
