The Dundee Pie Challenge returns this fall! On Monday, November 23rd from 7:30-10:30pm, Harpoon Brewery & Beer Hall hosts the sixth annual Mick Dundee meat pie challenge with KO Pies and competitors like last year’s champ Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Select Oyster Bar, Yvonne’s, La Brasa, Pennypacker’s, Tavolo, Ashmont Grill, Lincoln Tavern, Loco Taqueria and Commonwealth. This ‘Brawl at the Hall’ will pit chef against chef as each kitchen’s representatives fill a KO Pies pie shell with a filling and garnish of their choice, to be judged by attendees. The prize? A much-coveted (and very tacky) champions belt. One ticket is good for admission of four people, 12 mini pies, and a Harpoon beer for everyone you bring (i.e. 4 beers, if you max out the ticket). Join the party, cast your vote, and eat some pie for a good cause—in addition to the belt, the winner will get to designate a $2000 donation to a charity of their choice.
