Cave in to your craving for sweets at the fourth annual Home Sweet Home fundraiser for the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund. On Saturday, October 22nd pastry chefs from eateries around the city will be convening at the Hyatt Regency Hotel to see how their confections measure up. Scoop up tickets (for $50 each or $100 for the VIP treatment) and you can sample all of the evening’s goodies and cast your vote for your favorite. In the running: Amelia’s Trattoria, City Table, Finale, The Fireplace, Harvest, Henrietta’s Table and Temple Bar, among plenty of others. Proceeds from the event, which runs from 7:00-11:00pm and includes live music, auctions, raffles and wine tastings (for the VIPs), support the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund.
