Walk down Waltham Street in Boston’s South End on Halloween night, and you’ll see plenty of spooky set-ups and costumed youngsters trick-or-treating. Get a front row seat to all of the action at either one of chef Barbara Lynch’s spots. From 4:00 through 8:00pm on the patio (bring a jacket — it’ll likely be cold!), B&G Oysters is hosting their classic haunted house. Meanwhile, across the street, The Butcher Shop will have complimentary mulled cider to warm you up and tarot card readings (for those with reservations). Hit up either place, and afterward take a stroll through the South End streets for a last-chance look at the creepy decorations on All Hallows’ Eve.
