Empty Bowls Fundraiser

Enjoy the last days of soup season and support a worthy cause on Saturday, March 23rd or Sunday, March 24th at the 11th annual Empty Bowls Project. This year you’ll have two chances to snag a lovely homemade ceramic bowl and slurp some homemade soups from some of your favorite local restaurants – all in support of On The Rise, a program which advocates for homeless and formerly-homeless women in the Greater Boston area.

On Saturday, head to Puritan & Company in Cambridge for either an 11:30am or 1:30pm seating. For $45 you’ll get to choose a bowl made by artists from Feet of Clay, Indigo Fire, Harvard Ceramics and Mudflat Studio, and sample soups from P&Co, Viale, Sofra, Oleana Mamaleh’s, Little Donkey, 1369 Coffeehouse, Trina’s Starlite Lounge, Revival and more. Or, head to an open house at either 11:00am, 12:30 or 2:00pm at On The Rise at 341 Broadway on Sunday where you can snag a bowl and some soups to go. Grab tickets here until Friday, March 22nd, and check out more info about On The Rise’s mission either on their website or by following them on socials (FB, X, and IG).
